Perseid meteor shower lights up night skies across the world

Hey stargazers, welcome back!
On August 12th, you have a perfect chance to see the Perseid meteor shower.
This shower is an annual occurrence, but this year there won’t be any moonlight interfering.
On the night of August 12th, get to the darkest skies you can, and bring a reclining chair
so you can look up easily.
At the peak, you should see about one or two meteors per minute, with the higher rates
coming in the early morning hours.
And no need for binoculars or a telescope.
Meteors appear all over the sky, so you want as wide a view as possible.
And August 12th is just the peak.
You can see Perseid meteors from mid-July through late August at much lower rates.
